I am currently out of town, and my niece informed me of Bun's passing. I am sorry to have learned of this sad news. My sincere sympathy to his family. Bun was a gentle man with great character. As a loyal friend and companion for many years, I have such fond memories of our being together. I cannot remember a time that he would turn down a good game of cards or a "fine" cigar. I am certain that he was welcomed with open arms to spend the next and final chapter of his life with those saints who have gone before. May he rest in peace. Nancy Barnes Heidrich

So sorry to hear about Uncle Bun but, we know he is happy to be in a better place as he was not happy living from day to day. You know, Teddi, if it weren't for you he might not have been with us to date. You have a "huge heart" & you will be rewarded when the day comes. Sorry we won't be at the viewing but, you can bet I am thinking about you. You take care & God Bless!!!

I am so sorry to hear about Bun. Growing up, he and my Aunt Nancy used to take myself and my sister to many events. I remember one year when they took us to the Ionia Free Fair. I had to have been 5 or 6 at the time and I remember him holding my hand and taking care of me. Later in life, my husband and I worked our way through his attic to place a dish for his T.V. He will always hold a special place in my heart. He was a wonderful man that made a positive impact on everyone he met. I am sorry I am out of the state at this time. May God comfort you with your loss.
