Rosalie Ann Wood

Rosalie Ann Wood age 83, of Muskegon, MI, formally of Ravenna went home to her Heavenly Father on November 20, 2021. Rosalie was born on June 18, 1938 in Sparta, MI to the late Leonard and Laurel (Bunnell) Empie. Rose married Arnold Lee Wood on August 12, 1966. Rose had a heart of gold. She loved her family and would do anything for them. She was a long time member of the Ravenna United Methodist Church. She was a past member of the Sparta Lioness Club and Tops in Ravenna. She will be greatly missed by her children: Ray Empie of California, Patricia (Mark) Stancliff of Conklin, Dave (Heidi) Mull of Allendale, Jeff Mull of Cooopersville, Ellen (Ed) Snook of Corunna and Bruce Mull of Ravenna. 17 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild. Sister Marilyn Nance of Cedar Springs, Brothers: Leon (Ruth) Empie of Sparta, Lyle Empie of Kent City and Bernard Empie of Howard City. Many nieces, nephews and friends also survive. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, husband Arnold, and Sisters: Barbara Kennamer, Lois Gunneson and Carol Blackmore. A Memorial Service will be conducted on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 11:00am at the Ravenna United Methodist Church with Pastor David Selleck officiating. The family will be at the church 1 hour prior to service to greet friends. Memorials may be directed to: Harbor Hospice. So sorry for your loss of your mom, I thought the world of Aunt Rosalie and will miss her. My heart is breaking with you especially being so close to my mom's death. I am praying for you all to have peace and reconciliation. I'm sorry I won't be able to make her service. God be with you all. I love you all.
