Leo George Humphreys age 68, of Fruitport, MI died Wednesday, December 18, 2013 surrounded by his family. Leo was born on October 5, 1945 in Muskegon, Michigan to the late Robert L. and Kitty (Shavalier) Humphreys. Leo is survived by: 3 Sons: Scott (Patti) Humphreys of Twin Lake, Bryan Humphreys of Rockford and Jeff Humphreys of Fruitport. 6 Grandchildren also survive. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Leo was preceded in death in addition to his parents by: 1 Brother: Dr. R.L. Humphreys and 1 Sister: Alice Shelburne. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be conducted at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family. Leo and I grew up together at the end of Wolf Lake Rd. It would be hard to tell a story about my youth without including a mention of Leo. He was a good guy to grow up with and I am sorry for his family that he has passed away.
