Don, Tammie, Vicky, Todd and families: We were very sorry to hear about Helen. While it is very hard to watch someone you love suffer and even though you don't want them to go through that, your heart is never ready to let go. I think these words from a poem are so true- "the sadness words mankind knows will always be goodbye"... Cherish the memories you shared with her and in time they will bring you comfort and eventually the pain in your hearts will be replaced by a smile for the impact she has had on your lives. I have very fond memories of visiting with Aunt Helen during my childhood visits to Michigan. Take care.

Helen was a wonderful lady and was well-loved. Her family loved her very much and helped her with her journey every day. She is not suffering anymore, but smiling at all of you in heaven. She is indeed an angel watching over all of you. She would not want you to mourn her her, but enjoy the happy moments you had with her.
