Don Hazen we knew as teacher, and then friend. He was a most respected, by his students and fellow workers. Gene was on the fire department and severed with Don, and learned from him. He was well known in our small village, and well respected. Don always had time to stop and talk, (and chew the cigar) anytime, and anywhere. He will be missed.

Mary and I are having good thoughts for all of the Hazen family. Don was my mentor in many ways, as a young teacher, as a man with great work ethic, and most importantly as a friend. Rest in peace Don and I am sure the Good Lord will have a few odd jobs for you to work on. Doug and Mary Coe
