Dian Lyn Thoune

Dian Lyn Thoune age 51, of Ravenna died Friday, May 28, 2010 at Metro Hospital in Grand Rapids surrounded by her family. Dian was born on November 16, 1958 in Fremont, Michigan to James and Carol (Sindle) Hughey. She married Paul J. Thoune on August 9, 2005 in Muskegon, Michigan. Dian is survived by her Husband Paul of Ravenna, Father: James Hughey Sr. of Hesperia, 3 Sons: Jeramy (Valarie) Lockard of Grand Haven, Theodore Tyler and Dakota Thoune both of Ravenna. 2 Grandchildren. 5 Brothers: Howard, Mike, Jim, Mike and Bob. 3 Sisters: Mary, Joanie and Julie. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Dian was preceded in death by her mother: Joan Hughey. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Cody, your mom was super woman and she loved you so much! If you get half of her strengh you will do just fine! I hope your family finds comfort in knowing that Diane-a daughter, mother, wife and sister was AMAZING. She will never be forgotten!

I truely miss Diane and her whole family. She was truely a remarkable woman, mother, wife, friend. Her endurance for life was amazing. She is someone I will truely never forget. I pray that she is at rest now, and able to watch us from above. Sincerly, sarah

Sorry for the loss of Dian, I was one of many of her care givers at Metro, I was with her and gave her care all the years she was there. I will have lots of good memories of her and will also miss her much.

Paul,& Family, I'm so sorry for your loss of Dian. We all knew her well and enjoyed caring for her. She had to fight the tough battle for many years. Now she is at peace and will be at eternal rest in heaven. Please take good care and may God bless your Family. Connie Larie/Miller
