Denise Florence MontanoDenise F. Montano age 66, of Nunica, MI died Monday, June 7, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. Denise was born on June 11, 1954 in Grant, MI, adopted by Herman and Anna (Lack) Schultz. She married Fernando V. Montano on May 12, 1980 in San Antonio, Texas. Denise had a giving heart, exemplified by her passion for Christ, her loved ones, animals and her job as a care giver. Her biggest enjoyment was the time spent with her three sons. You couldnâ€™t visit Denise without receiving a gift from her. She was known to host gatherings for family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. Denise is survived by her Husband of 41 years: Fernando V. Montano of Hesperia, 3 Sons: Fernando (Jessica) Montano of Ravenna, Eric Montano of Muskegon and Tony (Mariah) Montano of Fruitport. 1 Grandson: Jaxon Montano. Mother: Margaret Hurd of Grant. 1 Brother: Dennis Schultz of Spring Lake, 4 Sisters: Gloria (John) Crofoot of New Era, Diana (Mark) Hargis of Kalamazoo, Sheri (Tim) Dailey of Grant and Pam (Dave) Osborn of Whitehall. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her Parents, and Brother George (Trish) Brown. A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Ravenna Free Methodist Church. Visitation will take place at 10:00AM, Service at 11:00AM followed by a luncheon. Denise, I will miss you! You were such a blessing in our lives. Such a sweet, caring person. I'm so sad that you've been taken from us way too soon! But I know that you are not suffering anymore and that you are flying free now with the angels and with Jesus. I know big Ferny and your boys will all miss you so much. Ferny, little Ferny, Eric and Tony and family, you all have our sympathy and prayers.

My sincere condolences to the Montano Family at this time of great change. My sisters and I were always so grateful for the wonderful care Denise gave to our Mother during her last years. Denise was a true Blessing to all.

Condolences to the family of Denise Montano So sorry for your lose. Denise was a wonderful person. She so loved her husband and three boys and also her grandson. Ive known Denise for many years and my daughter was like her daughter and good friends with her oldest son Fernando Montano. Gone way to soon. Rest In Peace Denise your with god now.
