Obituary

Lee Glovick age 44, passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2021. Lee was born and raised in Conklin and attended high school at Sparta High School. Starting after high school, he was the “right hand man” working for his dad and restored and repaired cars and whatever else came into the shop. His work was excellent and there was never a disappointed customer when he was involved in the project. At home, he was his mom’s sidekick and would do anything to help except for cooking and washing dishes. He loved dogs, and spent a lot of his spare time taking them for special walks, car rides, and boat rides. Even if you aren’t supposed to have favorites, all would agree that Lee’s favorite dog was his beloved buddy, Wrecks, a fluffy Rottweiler, who he grilled burgers for almost every day of Wrecks’ life. Lee loved fast cars (especially Corvettes, a family tradition) and you could count on him having a big smile as he tore through the gears on acceleration, which also brought smiles (and sometimes fear) to his passengers. Car caravans to family gatherings often turned into races when Lee was behind the wheel of one of the cars. He was also an excellent guitar player, although only a rare few were lucky enough to hear him play. Lee will be greatly missed by the humans and canines he left behind. Lee is survived by his loving parents, Barry and Sue Glovick; sister, Joy Glovick; brother and sister-in-law, Sam and Lee Erica Glovick; nephew, Henry Glovick; aunts and uncles, Jann Twork, Van Kipka, and Larry and Pat Kipka; cousins, Patrick Tanner, Baley Kipka, and Tessa Twork; great aunts and uncles, Kate Arko, Carolyn Curran, and Wayne and Nancy Daub, and their families. A memorial service is being planned for a later date. Memorials may be directed to: The Humane Society.
