Andrew L. Foster, aged 71 of Grant and formerly of Petoskey, passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 with his loving wife in his arms and surrounded by his loving family. Andrew was born on April 18, 1941 in Petoskey to Joseph and Jenny (Griffin) Foster, and worked as a Hi-Lo operator for General Motors Fisher Body plant #2 in Walker, retiring in 1997 after 30 years of service. Following his retirement from General Motors, Andrew and Betty lived in Petoskey until recently moving back to Grant. Andrew loved classic cars, and through the years was a member of four different car clubs.
